Be Watchful, Not Naked.

Scripture

Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” ~ Mark 13:35-37
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:6
But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. ~ 2 Timothy 4:5
“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” ~ Revelation 16:15

Prayer

Holy Father in heaven, let us be watchmen today, not just for ourselves but also for those around us (Ezekiel 33:6). Let us be about Your Kingdom work daily as ministers, testifying to the gospel of Jesus Christ that You will be our garment of hope and salvation when the master of Your house returns. Today, let our hearts cry out, “Come Lord Jesus.” Amen.
