Fear Not!
by:
Scripture
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? ~ Psalm 27:1
Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident.
One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.
~ Psalm 27:3-4
Prayer
Holy Father in heaven, when we cast our eyes on You , making You the focus of our lives, there is no place left for fear. When our goal is seeking Your face to behold Your beauty; when our goal is seeking first Your Kingdom that we may inquire of You; when our goal is Your light and Your salvation leading to grace. When our goal is spending eternity with You, of what shall we be afraid? Of whom should we fear? Yes, Abba, let us be confident in this goal. Amen.
Testimony
Putting your trust in the Lord is the greatest sin of humility we can offer to Him. It is a seal of our commitment to pick up our cross each day and carry it where we are lead by the Holy Spirit. In other words: keeping our eyes on the prize. His Kingdom is coming soon and so is the King. Let us be the light that shines upon the narrow road that leads to Him that others may see through the darkness of deception and lies. Let us not be silent with our faith in God and His indivisible Righteousness. Our eternity depends on it.
Wisdom
Stay the course. Fear not! Keep your eyes on the prize, that is eternity in the house of the Lord.
