Jesus Saves!

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, ~ 1 Timothy 1:15-16, 1 Timothy 2:3-6
Prayer
Holy Father in heaven, everything we are and everything that is, is of Jesus Christ. He is our purpose, and His purpose is to save us. Satan is sin and sin wants to kill us, physically and spiritually. There lies the battle. Christ came to die that we may have life, but life, being precious in Your eyes, comes at the cost of dying to ourselves and forsaking the ways of this world, picking up our cross and not just believing in Jesus but following Him. Today, let us have faith, strength, and endurance, to face whatever long-suffering awaits us as followers, that the knowledge of the Truth will guard our hearts. Amen.
