Scripture

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” ~ Matthew 9:11-13, 37,38

Prayer

Holy Father in heaven, today let us remember with humility that we were once blind but now we see, that we were once lost but now we are found, that we were once dead in our flesh but now the blood of Jesus Christ has given us life everlasting through Your mercy and grace. Let us represent that gift well to those around us that others will be healed physically and spiritually. Let us be busy about Your Kingdom work of harvesting the ripeness in Your fields, that which the good news of Your Gospel has produced. Amen.

Testimony

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I’m found
Was blind, but now I see

This well known song should be the anthem of the lives of those who have been changed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
