Only In Him

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” ~ Matthew 12:43-44, 16:23
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. ~ Philippians 2:14-16
Prayer
Holy Father in heaven, from the moment that Jesus Christ took His last breath on the cross, being filled with the sins of the world, past, present and future, then descended to hell until He was resurrected three days and nights later to life by the Holy Spirit, up until today, the battle for the souls of this world has raged around us in every realm, at every level. Only in Him and His sacrifice do we stand a chance spiritually; only in Him and the Holy Spirit He left to us by Him can we keep a clean spiritual house; only in Him can we muster the power of the Holy Spirit to command Satan to “Get thee behind me”, keeping him there by using every piece of Your armor. Let us face this day in You, with Him, walking in Your Spirit. Amen.
