Wake Up Sleeper!

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. ~ Romans 13:8-11
Prayer
Holy Father in heaven, let us start this day by remembering Your love for us throughout eternity, culminating at the Calvary cross. Let us live this day by putting on the Lord, Jesus Christ, making no provision for the flesh (v. 14). Let us love our neighbor by, obeying the command of sharing the gospel’s good news, because the time is now to wake up from the sleep of complacent comfort and enter into the spiritual battle as armored up soldiers of Almighty God (John 15:13). Amen.
Testimony
Let today be the day that we “wake up” to our complacency of faith and turn our lives around, away from the ways of this world and toward the coming Kingdom of God.
