True To His Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ~ John 1:1
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ~ Romans 10:8-11,17
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ~ James 1:22
Prayer
Holy Father in heaven, today, let our Faith be our shield🛡️ and Your Word be our our sword🗡️. Let our profession of the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ be how we walk each day and that which protects our minds and hearts from the deception of the world around us. Abba, feed us each day our spiritual food and let us be full of Your glory (Matthew 4:4, 6:11). Amen.
