Holy Conduct.
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” ~
1 Peter 1:13-16
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. ~ Revelation 1:1-3
Holy Father in heaven, with sober minds, and hope in Your mercy and grace, let us strive for Your holiness by coming out of the world as true believers in Jesus Christ. Let us wait in prayerful expectation for the glorious return of our Lord and King as promised by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Let us read and hear Your prophetic words today, that we will be blessed as the time draws near. Amen.
Let us remember today that Holiness attracts Holiness, and that the Holiness of God is attracted by our holiness. So let us strive together today as sons and daughters of God to walk and live in his holiness, as those chosen to be holy, so that we will be attracted to Him.
