The Power of Salvation

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. ~ 1 Corinthians 1:18

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Holy Father in heaven, let us never forget the wretch we once were, perishing in our sinful nature, before You graciously allowed the veil of lies and deceit to fall away from our eyes to see the Way, the Truth and the Life that is Yeshua Messiah. As You never gave up on us, lovingly answering the prayers for our souls, let us never give up being witnesses to that love, mercy and grace that lets the blind see the face of God. Amen.
