Today, let us seek Him!
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. ~ Isaiah 55:6-7
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. ~ Colossians 3:1-5
Holy Father in heaven, with great humility, fear and trembling, let us seek Your face today while we can. Let us this day take an account of our lives that we may turn away from the world and unto those things that emulate our Savior; those things that are above, that we may be ready to appear together with Jesus Christ as those glorified through Him, who died that we may die to our former selves, so that we can live as He now lives with You. Amen.
The Bible is a book of opposites. Life versus death, good versus evil, blessings versus curses, health versus disease. It’s also a book of choices. Make your yes yes and your no, no. Be cold or be hot. Choose today which God you will serve. God’s word leaves no room for middle ground; no room for lukewarm belief. Today, let’s choose wisely to repent, return, and be redeemed.
