Trusting is Believing
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones. ~ Proverbs 3:5-8
Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD. ~ Jeremiah 9:23-24
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
~ John 14:1
Holy Father God in heaven, when You gave us Jesus Christ, You gave us Yourself. Today, let us believe in You, trust in You, and find peace in You. Let us receive Your Holy Spirit in our living temple that His counsel and guidance will always lead us in Your direction. Not in anything of this world, but in You should we put our confidence because You never let us down, never disappoint, and never forsake us. Father, keep us always in You that we will always be in Christ. Amen.
Trusting in the Lord for all you do is the greatest sign that you truly believe. Because trusting takes great faith and great faith makes Jesus marvel (Matthew 8:10). Today, let’s make Jesus marvel.
Not in anything of this world, but in You should we put our confidence because You never let us down, never disappoint, and never forsake us.
