Take care of ourselves first, and then make relationships with other countries.” This is well said; no country should be catering to the needs of another nation first, or the whole basis will fall apart and that nation will no longer exist. Sovereignty is important, and finding a way to continue being productive on a global scale while ensuring the cultures of each individual nation are still being upheld is our most important mission.
When Tucker asked Tommy to replace “Should” with “Do I want to”, that is something we need to take into our own lives. Living off of other people’s expectations is unsustainable and terrible for our own well being.
