"Q-Tips"
Avoid the embarassment of repeating mainstream disinformation
with these insider pro-tips:
- There are the Q threads, and there are Anons who follow them, but the term "Q-anon" is technically incorrect.
- "Q" posted a series of almost 5,000 posts since 2017 that have put a spotlight on topics, people, and documentation. "Anons" are those who follow up on this narrative and apply it to current events.
- The letter Q alludes to the authors' top level security clearances. Several facts point to the likelihood that this operation originates with the Defense Intelligence Agency and involves a group of operatives who coordinate the post content, the timing and embedded messages.
- "Q+" is a reference to Donald Trump, our 45th president. There is a long list of tweets, statements and photos that certify DJT is not only aware but highly involved in the Q narrative - "Q Proofs."
- The Q threads cover a lot of topics. Anyone who passes judgment on the Q narrative with a single thought likely has no idea of the contents.
- There are several sites that aggregate the Q posts for easy reference. The original postings can be found on an anonymous message board named "8 Kun" (formerly "8 Chan" and "4 Chan"). Due to the amount of complexity and profanity, the aggregators are a much better place to access the Q information.

Why so cryptic?
Q posts have certain qualities that create intrigue for the community. Many, many questions are posed on topics of national security and criminality so that -in theory- lawful confidentiality is maintained by the insiders authoring the threads. Cryptic clues and cross-references to other posts are often embedded. Timing of posts ("Q drops") coinciding with Tweets from the president, relevant numbers in time stamps, memes from media secretary Dan Scavino all have added to the allure of tracking the Q threads. Naturally, many broadcasters have taken up the cause to interpret these posts. Some have proven to be incredibly interesting and talented at speculating the answers to questions and the intent of the message. Others, claiming to have inside sources, are riding the train to gather a following and produce largely 'clickbait'.
